This beautiful natural BLACK opal was mined and found in the Koroit mining fields in Australia. It is ready to be set in any type of jewelry and will surely look beautiful. Each opals are uniques, it is really impossible to get 2 identical pieces. All our stones are natural and never gets any kind of treatment. Last picture is the back of the stone.

PLEASE NOTE:

    Photos are taken with a digital camera with a macro lens under artificial lights that appears as white spot or white rolling light on the stone. We do try to replicate the fires and the real beauty of the stone but it can't be done. The colors displayed out of the stone depends on the temperature(color) of the light and its strength, and depends also of the angle from where the stone is viewed. In real life conditions, opals usually looks better than on pictures. Finally, the purple fires are very saturated in the pictures and looks much softer for the human eye.
