The currency item shown is the exact currency card you will receive. This is one of many currencies from the Topps 1962 Civil War News set I will be posting so please check my eBay store for other listings.

(Lot: 02-24-23)

Note: the photos do serve as a "visual description" for this item. So, please look closely at all of the pictures and determine for yourself it's condition.

You are purchasing an ORIGINAL 1962 "Topps" Civil War News - "Currency $2 - Type 1 Serial #2473.

(Note: the Topps series of these currencies have "blueish backs" where the English, A&BC (1965) version have "black backs.")

I consider this currency item to be in excellent-mint condition.  (However, I am NOT a grader of cards - just a non-sports collector of vintage pre-1970 cards!)

These currencies were offered one per pack of 5 Civil War News cards. Each bill WAS folded in its center to fit nicely in the pack. So, subsequently ALL currencies have a crease or fold in them. There was a total of 17 different currency bills offered in denominations from $1.00 to $1,000.

These currencies are getting harder and harder to locate in any condition. These 1962 Topps Civil War News, currencies are also highly collectible and very sought-after mid 20th century non-sports card items.

This currency will make a great addition for your set building, or an excellent starter card if you are starting your 1962 Topps "Civil War News Currency" collection!

I have been collecting the classic U.S.A. Topps series cards since their release in the spring of 1962. They are a great source of entertainment and a look back at the hype and impact of the "Cold War" had on the United States during the mid-20th century.

Please judge for yourself it's condition and centering.

This currency item will be packed for safe shipment.

As with all of my items, the shipping is FREE (ONLY in the U.S.) and satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return for a full refund.

Thank you for looking and for your purchase consideration.
