A charming antique Scandi Boho styled washstand dating to the early 20th century.
It is a lovely versatile piece which could be used as a dressing table, console or perhaps in a bathroom as a vanity unit for a bowl type sink.
The washstand consists of a fairly lightweight oak base which has a single door and is set on narrow block legs finished with castors.
The top of the washstand is fitted with a removable heavy piece of slate finished with an oak and slate splashback.
The oak base panels have been hand painted in black water based paint before being stencilled with a Boho design and then waxed.
CONDITION
The washstand is in solid structural condition with some cosmetic marks of age and use including a few old inactive woodworm holes to the back.
The slate top has various marks and fine scratches.

width- 91.5cms for the slate top, 62cms for the base section
depth- 43.5cms for the slate top, 41cms for the base section
The measurements are taken at the widest points.
