This is "24 Studies" for flute solo by Nicholas Platonov, edited by John Wummer. International Music Company of New York City is the publisher; the copyright date is 1957. This is a collection of 24 one-page studies arranged in order of keys; beginning with #1 in C Major, #2 in a minor, #3 in F Major, #4 in d minor, etc. with the remainder in ever increasing number of sharp and flat keys. The meters are varied and tempo indications are mostly some version of fast with a few moderate studies. The book measures about 12 by 9 inches and has 25 pages. The cover is the traditional International textured heavier stock in a deep nutmeg color with black print and border. The binding is two staples.
This volume is in excellent Like New condition. It has been stored with care away from sunlight. The cover has good depth of color. Cover edges are crisp and all corners are sharp with the exception of the lower front which is a little bumped. There is a faint crease line set back from the lower front corner. The spine is in good shape and the staples are clean and snug. Inside the pages are an ivory white and are free of markings, tears or creases.
