Pilot Celemo 14K F Nib.

This Pilot Celemo is one of Pilots entry level 14K nibs. The body is slightly smaller and lighter than the elite and Customs, but it also doesn’t come with the price tag.

Overall the pen is in good condition, there are very few scratches to the body or cap, and the nib is clean and not too faded.

There is a little bit of ink staining around the section and threads, and the gold trim on the section at the base of nib has come off in places (quite visible in the photos).

The nib is a little scratchy and it skipped on the card, but it wrote better on normal writing paper, the cards I use are textured and better suited to broader nibs.

Unfortunately as far as I’m aware the nib unit isn’t removable on these models, so they can’t be swapped out like on other Pilots, but this is a good pen for those dipping their toes into the gold nib market. It comes with a new con-40 converter and is easy to clean and ink up.

All pens are cleaned before and after testing, but it’s always best to rinse through before using.
