Pilot Custom 74 14K Fine Nib Black Gold Trim (811) Con-70N Pen Pouch.

The nib writes well, although it has a bit more feedback than some of the fine nib customs. It’s clean with few visible marks. The feed and cartridge connector are also in excellent condition.

There are a few marks and scratches on the body and clip, commensurate with age, but overall the pen is in a good condition.

The stamp on the nib is 811, which should mean it was produced in August 2011. I thought Pilot stopped stamping the factory mark later on but I may be wrong. I assume it came out of the Hiratsuka factory, as the Tokyo factory had already shut down.

The pen comes with a new Con-70N and the pen pouch with testing card shown in the photo.

Even though the pen has been thoroughly cleaned before and after testing, it’s always best to rinse through before use.

Returns for used pens are only accepted if they are faulty or not as described. However I do sometimes allow for pens to be dip tested as long as the feed and cartridge don’t get ink up, please message me in advance.
