Vol I: half TP, TP, Subscriber's List xx, 203pp.  Vol II: half TP, TP, 208pp. Vol II has the coat of arms on page 38. Vol I with "vous" on the last line/word of page 150. Vol II with pages 34 and 35 misnumbered; last line on page 133 ends with "whho ave..."  Very good minus in full mottled calf in a tasteful modern clamshell box. Six panels on spine separated by gilt fillets; second sections have contrasting red title labels with gilt lettering and decorative outlines; third seconds have gilt-stamped volume numbers. Gilt dentelles on external edges, more visible on the side and lower edges. At some point there were gilt fillet borders on board panels, barely visible now on the lower borders of the front panels. External spine hinges are cracked.  Front panel with FFEP and back panel of Vol I are detached; front panels of Vol II is detached. Edges at heads and tails of spines are rubbed and softened. Parts of sections four and five on spine of Vol 1 are chipped. Page edges are age-darkened as are text margins. Text blocks are secure to the spines.
