A superb and rare photo, made from what we believe is the original negative, of the John Player Norton 750 riders Phil Read and Peter Williams, in action on Brands Hatch in 1972.

On the John Player Norton with number 10 we see Phil Read. At the time he was the 250cc World Chmpion. Behind him, on the John Player Norton with number 11, we see the magnificent Peter Williams.

In 1972 Tony Rutter also was a member of the John Player Norton team, but he was later replaced by John “Mooneyes” Cooper. The John Player Norton team was led by Frank Perris.

It is a very nice non period photo that reflects the golden era of racing in a wonderful way. This is your rare chance to own this photo that reflects the glorious history of Norton as well. Therefore it is printed in a nice large format of approx. 4" x 6" (ca. 10x 15cm).
