Giant River Cane is one of our native bamboos here in North America. It was almost eradicated when settlers started clearing land for planting and pasture lands.

It's a very hardy plant, it's adaptable to a variety of zones.

Capable of direct sunlight and extreme heat.

Good for privacy, can be used in front of an open weave fence or erosion prev

used by Native Americans for baskets.

Can grow as tall as 20 feet and be 1 inch in diameter.

Will usually grow up to 3 feet each year.
