Has a previous owner's signature and date 1918.

Also has a written quotation by Don Marquis of the New York Evening Sun,March 1918 - doesn't look like Marquis' handwriting as researched from  internet.

Page 2 has a hand written version of Teasdale's "The Philosopher".The handwriting seems very similar to copies of her handwriting found on the internet.I have posted pictures of the book's writing and samples of Teasdale's actual handwriting,decide for yourself.The last two pictures in the listing are Teasdale's from the internet search.If someone knows something about the handwriting, please let me know.
