Beautifully carved pair of antique Chinese bookends.  These are quite nice with the birds.  Marked China on the bottom.  These are early 1940s carvings in soapstone.

Very good condition with some roughness on the top of the carved flower pot, one with chip on corner of flower pot.  Some minor wear.  Chip to corner, see images.  Considering their age they are in very nice shape.  Perfect for books, displays very nicely as a bookshelf piece of decor.
