'STERLING SILVER' MINIATURE HOLY BIBLE PENDANT

925 CHAIN.

This is a solid silver necklace comprising of a miniature 'Sterling Silver' pendant in the form of the Holy Bible and an attached 925 Silver chain. The hinged pendant opens to reveal a printed insert of part of a well known psalm ' The Lord's my Shepherd'.. The pendant is suspended from a thin silver chain which is marked 925 on the ring and small accompanying plate. Both in excellent condition and well marked. The inside of the pendant could do with having the tarnish cleaned away. 

Dimensions: 

Total length of chain + rings (not doubled) - 40.2 cm. (15.8 inch.).

Pendant - 13 x12 mm. (0.51 x 0.47 inch.).

Weight: 6.0 grams.

Marks:The front of the pendant has 'HOLY BIBLE' in light relief. The reverse is stamped 'STERLING SILVER' and above are the maker's name which we cannot make out!  On the chain the large opening ring is stamped 925 as is the small flat plate which also is stamped 'Oa' - presumably the maker's name or mark.

Condition: The Holy Bible and the chain are in excellent condition. Only part of the paper insert in the Bible is present. Tarnish to inside - not cleaned.
