This listing is for: Sony DCR-DVD108 Mini DVD Handycam  Digital Camcorder with discs +Carrying case.  Couldn't charge the battery using my universal charger (which doesn't seem to charge any Sony battery) so I can't retest this but it turned on when I bought it.  You will likely need a battery, and you will need a battery charger.
