The MG series was released in 1989 as Yamaha's signature model at the time.
Following the first model "MG-K" that was included in the first lineup, this new model "MG-KII" was added in 1991.
Both models will continue to be sold together until 1992, not as new or old models, but as variation models that fully express Mr. Kawai's unconventional sound capacity.
From 1993, only the MG-KII was available, and it remained in the lineup until around 1997.
In contrast to the 3-single model "MG-K", which has a sharp sound, this "MG-KII" has an HSH PU layout, a bi-sound system (tap function), and a "Rockin Magic-Pro II" bridge. .

There are some slight scratches and signs of use, but considering its age there is little damage and it looks relatively clean.
The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions.
The warp of the neck has been adjusted using a rod, but when I adjusted the treble strings to be straight, the bass strings were slightly warped.
There is some slight wear on the frets, but there is enough left and there is no problem with playing.
