In the 1920s, Bechstein produced upright pianos in fourdifferent heights. This one is 50” height (1.27m) and is the Model 8, #126698manufactured in 1925. It has been in the family, purchased new, since its dayof manufacture. Alas, no one plays piano in our home so it’s time to let it go.With the exception of tuning, no work to date has been performed on thisinstrument.  This piano requires reconditioningto bring it up to its glory. Suggested effort from a professional includes: settuning pins, file & shape hammers, clean and lubricate moving action partsand correct pitch to standard A-440.
