Danish Rosewood Coffee table. 

                                                 72cm long X 72cm wide X 50cm tall

Made in Denmark sometime around 1965-70

                                   We bought it on the last buying trip to Denmark. 

                         Not only is it lovely to look at but it is in fantastic condition which 

                                  is a testament to the quality craftsmanship and materials 

                                                   it took to make this beautiful table. 

 

The wood is rosewood which is always a sign of good quality, 

The standout feature of this coffee table is the combination of the beautiful figuring and grain in the wood they have chosen and the stunning ceramic tiles which have a design reminiscent of a yin and yang the combination of the  tiles and the beautiful rosewood are very pleasing to the eye. 

The reason Danish furniture is so popular is because it is So unlike anything we make in this country and is easily recognisable for its understated elegance it would bring a lot of style to any room in the house. 

It is in excellent condition.

Very light wear. 

 There are a few tiny scratches but nothing I can really photograph.

 If this was in a posh London MID CENTURY shop/gallery I think it would easily have £1200-1400
