Danish Rosewood Coffee table. 

                                               84cm X 43cm wide X 38cm tall

Made in Denmark sometime around 1965 

          We bought it on the last buying trip to Denmark. This is an unusual coffee

 table in that it is unfinished on the back so it is designed to be placed up against the wall or the end of the sofa I would make an ideal bedside cabinet. 

                  

                             The wood is rosewood which is always a sign of good quality, 

The standout feature of this coffee table is the combination of the beautiful figuring and grain in the wood they have chosen and the stunning ceramic tiles typical of the designs used in the 1960s blue design with cream coloured designs the combination of the  tiles and the beautiful rosewood are very pleasing to the eye. 

The reason Danish furniture is so popular is because it is So unlike anything we make in this country and is easily recognisable for its understated elegance it would bring a lot of style to any room in the house. 

It is in very good condition.
