This recipe has been compared to Zheng Gu Shui 'bone-setting liquid' which is a traditional Chinese liniment, trade-marked by Gulin Corporation and commercially available.

The ingredients include 2.5% Camphor, 2.5% Menthol crystal with these 23 Chinese herbs:
Radix Pseudoginseng, Peony tree root bark, Dalbergia, Szechuan Pepper fruit, Chinese Cinnamon, Rhizoma Curcumae Zedoariae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Angelica Dahurica, Teasel Root, Philippine Flemingia Root, Japanese Knotweed, Siler Root, Mulberry Twig, Drynaria rhizome, Eucommia Bark, Szechuan Lovage Root, Acanthopanax, Lycopodium serratum, Chinese Clematis root, Peach kernel, Gentiana macrophylla root, Safflower flower, and Coral Bean Bark.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the herbs decocted in this liniment have been traditionally used to heal, minimize pain, assist the healing of bone and joint problems, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and fascia.
To Apply: Soak a cotton ball or gauze pad and wrap the injured area for several hours so the liniment can soak into the skin. Repeat each day or as often as required.
Alternatively, rub the liniment into the affected area and massage for several mnutes. Repeat 3-4 times per day.
