I have here for sale a book entitled THE WORKS OF J.H.FABRE - THE LIFE OF THE GRASSHOPPER, by J.H.FABRE. Translated by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos. This first edition was published in 1918 by HODDER AND STOUGHTON, London. 

Bound in green linen boards. Gilt title lettering and gilt grasshopper to the front board. Gilt title lettering to the spine. Spine and board edges are a little rubbed. Spine ends are a little bumped. White stain to the front board. Endpapers are tanned, old pencilled price to the ffep. This book is in good + condition, the pages are clean and bright, and it is tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 308pp 20cm x 15 cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is wrapped in bubble wrap, cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
