I have here for sale a Rare first edition of THE FLORA OF BRISTOL BEING AN ACCOUNT OF ALL THE FLOWERING PLANTS, FERNS AND THEIR ALLIES THAT HAVE AT ANY TIME BEEN FOUND IN THE DISTRICT OF THE BRISTOL COAL FIELDS by JAMES WALTER WHITE, -  the introductory sketches of the topography, physical features, climate etc of the divisions in to which the area has been divided; notes on the origin of the flora; the distribution of local rarities as affected by rocks and soils; and biographical notices of those botanists who have engaged in botanical research at Bristol during the past 350 years. With a fold out colour map bound next to the title page, plus 2 other full page engraved plates. Published in 1912 by JOHN WRIGHT & SONS, Bristol. 

Bound in green linen boards. Gilt title lettering on the front board along with a gilt crest. Gilt title lettering on the spine. Spine edges are rubbed and it looks like it has been re-backed. Board edges are rubbed with board showing through. New endpapers. Foxing to the preliminary pages up to and including page 1, and also, the plates and  last few pages; otherwise pages are clean and bright, a few handwritten notes in the margins. Name on half title page.  This book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages viii, [2]. map, 722pp  23cm x 16cm. 

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
