I have here for sale a book entitled THE ANNUAL REGISTER OR A VIEW OF THE HISTORY & POLITICS, AND LITERATURE FOR THE YEAR 1786. This first edition was published in 1788 by J. Dodsley, London.  

With King George III on the throne and William Pitt the Younger as Prime Minister the events of the year are reflected,  volume is dominated with events in Europe and includes: Affairs in Ireland, Disarmament of Spanish Inquisition, Revolutions, Parliamentary Affairs, a chapter is dedicated to the expedition of discovery of land and sea of Russia, et al. With Chronicle of the Year, State Papers, Characters, Natural History, Useful Projects, Antiquities, Miscellaneous, Essays, Poetry and Account of Books. 

 View of the History, Politicks and Literature of the Year ...") is a long-established reference work, written and published each year, which records and analyses the year's major events, developments and trends throughout the world. It was first written in 1758 under the editorship of Edmund Burke, and has been produced continuously since that date.

Contemporary quarter binding, over marbled boards. Boards are nice and firm. New endpapers at the front of the book.  Tiny amount of historical worm holes evident to first few pages. This book is in very good condition, pages are clean and bright, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages, iv,302,200pp plus contents 21cm x 14cm. 

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
