Monarda, lemon mint, also known as Bergamot or horsemint. It is in the mint family therefore it has a square stem. Zone 5-10. It is considered an annual and will re-seed. It likes sun and will tolerate drier soils. It grows up to 3 ft high and develops purple flowers. It has a lemony smell to the leaves and it attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. In a smaller 2x3 inch pot. Plants are smaller as they are seedlings.
