About the artist:
Ivan Andreevich Panteleev 1904 - 1996. Born on June 29, 1904 in the village of Izluchye (now the Leningrad Region). He studied: "Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture" (1937). The specialty teacher is D. Kardovsky. He worked in the field of easel painting. Awarded with medals. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. The participant of republican exhibitions since 1952. Major works: "Roses Kozamlik" (1952); Lavender Collection (1957); “About Sudak” (1960); Gurzuf (1961); Cass (1961) Bar and others. He lived and worked in Simferopol. He died on February 8, 1996.
