We are about to move and while packing I keep running into treasures that just are not going to fit in our new smaller house.  So we are offering  "keeper" of mine offered for your consideration.

 Measuring nearly 4" at its widest point and 2" tall, I estimate this to date back to the 1930s or1940s or so...I'm not sure, so I welcome any information from a knowledgeable collector out there.

The ashtray is a fabulous figural in the form of a top hat. It's made of molded black glass and has raised letters on top twice saying "DOBBS". I am sure this  was a giveaway at a millinery shop of bygone days.

This is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and would make any collection of hats or advertising memorabilia complete!
