Pony Express Belt Buckle American Wild West History Mail Vtg 70s IMC ...an awesome old wild west "Pony Express" commemorative belt buckle. The Pony Express was an American express mail service that used relays of horse-mounted riders between Missouri and California, from April 3, 1860, to October 26, 1861. This is a round, gold tone metal buckle with darkened accents, made by Indiana Metal Craft, in the 1970s. It is in pretty decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have a dark patina, and some wear and tear from age and use. It measures approximately 2-3/4" x 2-3/4", fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and weighs about 5.7 oz. Please ask any questions before you buy, and look at all the photos, what you see is what you are buying. Thank you.
