Technical Description 

A rare Murano Salviati opalescent glass chicken dating to c1900. An upwards pointing orange beak to hold a single flower stem with a hollow body. Sits on a conical opalescent folded foot. A stunning example and the first we have seen.

Murano, Italy, c1900-1920.

Condition

Rough edge to the underside of one wing and a small section missing from one foot. Overall in excellent condition.
