This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc. and simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations.

No printed date, but according to the Lucile Project website, the publisher, Porter & Coates, went out of business in 1895.
