1995 Marvel Captain America Vol. 1 #445 Comic Book Art Signed Ron Garney & Mark Waid

Description:

Original "1st Print" comic book featuring Marvel Comics' Captain America was signed by legendary writer extraordinaire Mark Waid and penciler Ron Garney. *Comic cover also features original sketch art of Captain America enthusiastically drawn by Mr. Garney at request. Ron Garney's autograph is neatly signed in gold marker and artwork was drawn in silver. Both autograph and artwork were obtained at the Dragon's Lair in Fayetteville, NC on Saturday - January 3, 1998. Mark Waid's signature is signed neatly in black marker and was obtained at the 1999 Heroes-Con in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sat. June 19, 1999. *Comic will include two certificates of authenticity for both (times) signatures.

Synopsis:

As the world mourns the apparent death of Captain America as announced by Black Widow, Cap himself revives and bursts free of a glass tube inside an unknown laboratory. A female voice taunts him with past failures; he turns a corner to discover it is Sharon Carter, whom he thought dead. She is cold to him, but reveals that a third party teleported her and some medics into Avengers mansion just before he died, putting his body on ice and transporting it away to a secret lab, where a total fluid transfusion was performed. This makes him wonder if the super-soldier serum has been flushed from his body. She sets a team of fighters against him to test him; they defeat him making him realize his body is much weaker than before.

Condition:

Comic Book is considered to be in very strict (Near Mint 9.1) condition with solid spine, sharp edges, no rips or tears, no severe bends or creases as photo depicts the actual item. All items come from a pet and smoke-free environmentally controlled facility.
