Notes: A vintage 'Confetti' series cascade pendant lamp designed by Torsten Thorup & Claus Bonderup for Danish lighting firm, Focus, in the late 1970s.

Each of the three shades (model 1091) is made of white lacquered spun aluminium and have a flower-like shape designed to accept a crown gold (or crown silver) bulb - a bulb with a reflective tip that prevents glare and creates a softer, reflected illumination by bouncing the light upwards onto the everted rim. They could, of course, also accomodate decorative low-wattage bulbs that weren't widely available when this lamp was designed.

Each shade has been rewired with a length of premium Italian-made double insulated three core cable with a vintage style golden fabric braid. The total drop of the lamp can be adjusted easily from the large ceiling rose. The lamp accepts three E27 Edison screw bulbs.

Partial label to the shade interior.

Condition Report: Occasional minor mark to white lacquer, but generally excellent.
