For your viewing and bidding approval I present this vintage 7j Elgin model 5, grade 294 pocket watch manufactured in circa1908. The timepiece is an 18 size and is housed in a Deuber Silverine case. While the case evidences some scratches and light wear it is less than one would expect of a timepiece over 110 years old. The white porcelain dial as viewed through the lightly scuffed glass crystal is nice condition notwithstanding the presence of hairlines. This antique gem is powered by a 7j signed Elgin full plate, guilt, pendant wound and set movement which currently winds and runs although intermittingly setting is problematic. Nonetheless, accuracy is not guaranteed. If optimal timekeeping is desired a cleaning and adjustment is recommended.

Please review all the pictures as they represent far more accurately the items condition than any verbal description that I can provide. Most if not all of the horological items which I present for auction are from watchmakers' estates which have been in storage for a number of years. Consequently, I have no details as to their prior history nor can I offer any information other than what has been gleaned from cursory observation.
