The source has the following loading modes:
FIXED VOLTAGE MODE:
Allows you to choose an output voltage between 12.6Vdc to 14.4Vdc to power amplifiers and other devices. Indicated for use with charged batteries and sound playing, offering maximum power without draining the batteries.
INTELLIGENT SLOW LOAD MODE (SLOW SCS):
The slow charge mode has the exclusive SCS (SMART CHARGE SYSTEM) feature that intelligently regulates voltages for effective charging, preventing batteries from overcharging or overheating, increasing their useful life and performance.
SMART FAST LOAD MODE (FAST SCS):
Fast charge mode has the same SCS (SMART CHARGE SYSTEM) feature, but provides twice as much current as slow charge. It is indicated when the batteries are empty and there is little time to charge them.
Protections:
When activating a protection, the power supply will turn off and the LED present on the POWER/PROT button will light up. Check the cause of the problem and reconnect the source.
The protection features present are:
• Internal AC input fuse: Protection against internal short circuit of the source.
• DC output short circuit: Protection against short circuit and output overload.
• Low Voltage (Undervoltage): Output voltage protection below 7.5Vdc.
• Temperature: Intelligent monitoring that regulates the operation of the
Source according to temperature, avoiding turning it off
