This listing is for a Vintage Roland DJ-70 Sample Workstation / Vintage Synthesizer - plus extras - from 1992 /93

I have owned this machine for many years and has been great and really fun to use. Not really giving it the attention it deserves and to be honest havent used it in ages so I have decided to sell it on.

Everything works, all the various lights, switches and functions work as they should and the disc drive loads up discs fine and the screen is good with no issues - the resolution dial on the back also works great.

There are some minor cosmetic defects with the synth such as small scratches and marks to the underneath and 2 of the white keys have some slight cracking starting (see pics). The keys arent really any bother and work just fine however should you wish to replace them they are easily available spares to fit and simple and quick to change.

At some point in its life the top cap of the volume button was lost so I added a grey replacement part and painted it black so Its hardly even noticable but want to describe as honestly as I can.

The floppy boot disc itself is temperamental and loads sometimes but not always so if purchasing the DJ70 take this into account as it will probably worth your while obtaining a newer replacement boot disc which are available online.

I would also consider giving the unit a good clean and service to ensure the machine lives on for many more years. I have given the DJ70 a light clean outside and seems to be not bad condition wise. It has never been gigged just in a DJ / Studio setting.

The DJ70 comes with a power lead and printed manual in a binder split off into chapters which covers everything you will need to know to operate and maintain the unit. There are also some advertisement posters inside from 1992 when the unit had just been released which I added to the binder.
