I'm not a trumpet player so I had a couple friends test this out. Smaller cup diameter helps create a more focused sound. Told me it's probably worth between $30-40. I received it in a lot of saxophone mouthpieces so I have no use for it. I believe it is brass with silver plating. It has scars on the side from a mouthpiece puller, other than that it is in great condition.
