John Brooks Walton, The Architecture of  Charles Stevens Dilbeck, JBW Publications 2006 First Edition hardback, in excellent condition.  There is no other Dallas architect like Dilbeck.  To have a “Dilbeck” home is a matter of pride, and his creations, mostly built from the 1930s to the 1950s, are instantly identifiable and at the same time individually unique.  This book, by an architect from Tulsa who lives in a Tulsa Dilbeck, Tulsa being an where Dilbeck began his career, lovingly summarizes Dilbeck’s life and gives us wonderful descriptions and photos of Dilbecks both in Tulsa and Dallas, plus design drawings on some structures.  This is the only book on Dilbeck and is a striking and successful effort.  It appears to be published by Walton and no doubt was a limited edition. It is well printed with a great dust jacket.   Clearly hard to find, the prices I see on the few available copies are all well above my price, and my copy is in excellent condition.

Please excuse any glare or shadows in my photos, that is my poor photograpy—the pages and covers are all clean and free of marks.
