The title of these books shows up on this site with a certain regularity but this version from the Jewish Publication Society is a bit harder to come across as a full set. Here it is, ebayers, all 6 volumes plucked from an old New England estate here near Boston about 4 decades ago ( by me), and I'm finally offering it up for sale. Interesting here is that the previous owners' name is stamped into the leather portion of the cover.

It's in very good condition, my main apology is that a portion of the 2nd volume spine portion of the cover has some dry rot and has separation and loss from the body of the book. See that pic. It's hanging in there, but I can't say it won't degrade further without very careful handling (including my own!). I'll do my best to keep it in check, but this volume is 131 years old and I can't guarantee this will stay as is. Otherwise no major wear and tear, just a normal amount of patina, as it were, commensurate with its age. Otherwise all text and images, which are only at the end of the index volume as maps etc are entirely legible throughout. ONE OTHER THING! The volumes have many instances of pages being joined together, only to say the bottoms or tops were not separated/cut. This is not uncommon in antique tomes, and I didn't remedy this aspect. You may do so at your leisure upon it's purchase (please). See all the pics they tell the story.
