WEM Clubman Amplifier. Made around 1973 this is a classic British-made 1970's Valve Amp with a single 12" Axiom 402 speaker and 2 valves.

£300ono

All in great working order, with original logo and grillcloth in excellent condition. There are a few tiny dings on the tolex as expected with an amp of this age but these are aesthetic only and do not affect the function of the amp. There's a gentle background hum when powered up. Volume pot slightly scratchy when turning the pot on its lowest setting but does not affect playability, would clean up with pot cleaner.

I have only used this amp at home for practice or in rehearsal, it has not been gigged.

Description from early 1970s WEM advertising:

"A sturdy valve amplifier producing 5 watts of clean power helped by a heavy duty 12 " speaker. Two inputs with volume control and separate treble and bass controls. Finished in black leather cloth with silver trim.
The Clubman was one of a range of early seventies WEM amplifier. If you like the tone of an overdriven valve amp, but don't want to disturb the neighbours too much, then this is a great amp for playing at home."
