Item description: Invented by Dr. Hermann Snellen during the 1860s, the Snellen letter eye test chart comprises rows of capital letters diminishing in size. It serves as a tool for optometrists to assess visual acuity. Each row of letters on the Snellen chart denotes the smallest letter size discernible by a person with normal vision at distances ranging from six to sixty meters, with intervals in between.
