This locomotive is BRAND NEW removed from a sealed box set. Need a replacement? Don't buy one with a worn out drive motor, get one new!

I have put it on the track to test it. It pulls very strong and smooth.

Has Santa and one of his elves on board and both are animated and move back and forth.

 The delicate cattle grate on the front will be removed for shipping to prevent damage. It is simply held on with two screws.

 This listing is for the Locomotive Engine only. No other train cars, track, controller are included. A perfect addition-to or replacement for your existing set.

Compatible with the Holiday Express single-wire Tree Top Tender, meaning a single wire connection between to locomotive and Tender (the early versions had 2 wires connecting between the loco and tender and the two different versions are not compatible).

 This engine has been test run for proper working condition. Don't get stuck buying a dud; all my trains have been hooked up and actually test run on the track for lights and animation. They will have good rolling wheels, no broken connectors or couplers. Any issues or special features will be noted. No surprises.
