Fujigen is located in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
We handle OEM (manufacturing products for other companies' brands) for many famous domestic and international brands.
Founded in 1960, we are one of the world's leading guitar factories and have continued to lead the industry for over half a century.
"FGN (Fujigen)" is an original brand produced by Fujigen.
Our advanced processing technology and quality, backed by our track record, are recognized worldwide.
The low prices that are possible because we are a factory original brand that does not involve any middlemen are also very attractive.
Not only for those who are considering changing to a guitar that is one rank higher,
This is a brand that I would recommend anyone who is just starting to play the guitar to pick up.
The high playability that cannot be achieved with models in the same price range will definitely help you improve your playing.
The NLS series respects the original Les Paul and is based on its traditional structure.
This is a model with excellent playability and is finished with exceptional quality.
Of course, the circle fretting system, which is synonymous with Fujigen, is adopted.
The heather on the top is packed with ultra-orthodox V-shaped flames, and the thickness and spacing of the heathers are just right. It is a cool-looking individual that is comparable to the original Les Paul. The color is a lemon drop type, and the heather is well highlighted because the color is not too dark. The mahogany back has a bit of a ribbon heather look to it, giving it a slightly luxurious feel.
The neck has a smooth, slightly thin grip, but is not too thin and has a comfortable grip that is typical of a Les Paul. Comparing with G Company's current model, it is a little thicker than the so-called "60s" series slim taper, and slightly thinner than the "50s" series. I think it's a shape that will be supported by a wide range of people.
The pickup is a combination of Duncan SH-1n in the front and SH-4 in the rear.
SH-1n is one of the standard models as a PAF type pickup. Although it is said to be a PAF type, the magnet uses Alnico V, so the output is not too weak and can be used with modern music. It features a thick core and clear sound image. I think it's a clean or crunchy sound that would go well with jazz.
The rear SH-4 is also a very popular model as a rear pickup. Adopts Alnico V, and features a sound that firmly pushes the mid to high mid range, which is the delicious range of the guitar. It has a sense of power, so even with hard distortion, the sound is smooth and free, and can be used in a wide range of situations, from riffs to leads.
