This is a vintage Chicago Guernsey Farm 2 Gal cream can marked Hinsdale, Ill......... It is in very good condition..... The farm dates back a long way and I found a couple articles regarding it online..... Seems it was located in what now is a very upscale Chicago neighborhood and founded by a prominent businessman....... The following paragraph is from one of those articles:

Enos Barton, a co-founder of Western Electric Manufacturing, was a successful, wealthy, entrepreneurial and technologically innovative man of his time. He bought property in south Hinsdale to have a gentleman’s working cattle farm. Ultimately he owned 1,100 acres, all of it south of 55th Street on both sides of County Line Road heading south to Plainfield. While his main barn and home were west of County Line Road, his guest house — the first Hinsdale residence built to have electricity — was on the east side, where the RML Specialty Hospital now stands.

In addition to the brass plate there is a stamp designating the can a '2 Gal' on the side..... It is in very nice condition.... $20.00 shipping via USPS Ground Advantage
