Pen blanks can feature spalting, curls, burl eyes, soft spots, knots, voids, etc... Blank size is 3/4" x 3/4" x 5", sometimes that will be the size, but often the blanks will be slightly to generously oversized. I take pictures of several blanks from larger inventory of blanks at random to show a variety of figuring, I spray them with only water to show the color and figuring in a picture. My blanks are cut from micro stock, often luthier / museum quality pieces. 

Please note that the price listed is per blank, and you are not guaranteed to get the blanks in the image. Blank sizes may be +- 1/8" on any side.
