Antique rare & large queen Anne stoneware jug.
AR = Anna Regina. Queen Anne only reigned for 12 years and died in 1714.
Salt glazed stoneware jug, cobalt blue and manganese colored, with coat of arms and beautiful flower application.
Westerwald, Germany, begin 18th century.
Hight ca. 25 cm.
CONDITION OF THE JUG: RESTORED.
Unfortunately the jug was broken in shards and glued after that nearly without any losses.
Two superficial chips professional restored / replaced. See photos.
Nevertheless an extremely rare jug that displays very well.
