The bands Destroyer Tour, also known as The Spirit of '76 Tour, began on July 3rd 76 - the day before the USA celebrated 200 years of independence - and ran through until September 12th, when it concluded in Springfield, MA. With the exception of one date in Toronto, Canada on September 6th, the tour was confined to shows in the US. Many Kiss fans still rate this stunning show as among Kisss finest ever from this era! Among the very finest concerts Kiss performed while on this tour was played at the Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, NJ, 10th July 1976, their fourth gig of the tour. Supported by The J. Geils band and Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, the event was a night to remember!
