Disney's "Trader Mickey" Mickey Mouse and Native Chief Animation Drawing Group of (2) Walt Disney, 1932

Trader Mickey Mickey Mouse and Native Chief Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey and Pluto run aground on the African coast and find themselves captured by a nearby tribe. The group puts the two on the menu and begins to prepare them, but not to fear! Mickey uses some of the musical instruments he was carrying to distract them and save both he and his faithful pup. This wonderful lot features two full figure 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of the Mickey and the chief, found at approximately 1:30 while the chief reads his magazine and around 4:32 when Mickey shows the curious man how to play harmonica. The drawings are rendered in graphite with color pencil highlights on the second page. The figures measure roughly 2.25'' x 2.75'' (Mickey) and 3.75'' x 4.5'' (Chief) with the chief centered on the page. The pages are noted as 103 and 3. Very Good condition with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and a small tear.
