In 1955, second year player Al Kaline won the MLB Batting Title (.340), the MLB HITs Title (200), the AL TOTAL BASES Crown (321 TBs) and finished 2nd in AL MVP Voting to 3X MVP Yogi Berra!  WOW!!


In this game on Wednesday, May 9, 1956 (Kaline's 3rd yr), at old Griffith Stadium in Washington DC, Al Kaline blasted his FIRST career Home Run off SENATORS' Camilo Pascual.  This was Al Kaline's Career HR #36. Coincidentally, Al Kaline hit his most career HRs (10) off fellow SENATORS pitcher Pedro Ramos.
