NOTE #1: It was not unusual for these Early Mint Issues to have the gum removed for mounting since Commercial Hinges and Hingeless Mounts were not available till a much later date.  Collectors often removed the gum from these early issues to prevent them from sticking to album pages.

NOTE #2: See Scan #3 Image for Turtle Watermark Types. Upwards & Sideways Watermarked Stamps are considered by Stanley Gibbons to have the same value as either Watermarked Upwards or Sideways and can be substituted as either type.
