First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards very sharp and clean. Nice sharp spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with toning to edges, slightly more pronounced to the top edge, and some waviness to the fore-edge of the text block . Previous owners name and date to the FEP. The pages are otherwise unblemished. Feels very lightly read. Near fine condition. Jacket has crease to the front panel due to a previously ill fitting archival cover, there is a touch of sunning to spine but does not detract on the shelf. Overall a near fine copy.
