The phenomenon of crop circles, mysterious patterns appearing overnight in fields, has been a topic of intrigue and debate for decades. From simple circles and rings in the 1970s, crop circles have evolved into increasingly complex formations, incorporating mathematical ratios, like the Golden Ratio and sacred geometry.

Some people who have studied crop circles were convinced that their intricacy and the fact that the plants are bent but not broken and other phenomenon precluded a human creator, which meant that they were being produced either by some unknown natural force or by extraterrestrials.

My work is made entirely out of wax, my canvas is a solid hand poured sheet of wax measuring 10 mm in thickness and weighing an impressive 1.5 to 2 kg.

On top of this white base layer sits the hand cut crop circle wax design, always black in colour, measuring from 6mm to 10mm. The outer wax circle completes the item and you may choose colour from the options.

Other then the solid birchwood shadow box and frame its all wax.

Business logos and custom designs are more then welcome to be transformed into a unique wax work.

This artwork is ready to hang in a floating Tasmanian oak frame.

The answer is no. Its a very high melt point wax with special additives to strengthen wax. Its been tested to withstand ambient temperature of 60 degrees.
