DESCRIPTION

Wonderful mid-19th century brass bedwarmer.  The pan would be filled with hot coals to heat the foot of the bed at night.  Engraved pan lid.  Brass and copper rivet connectors.  Nicely turned handle with sponge painted folk art decorations.

CONDITION

Overall excellent.  Some tarnishing and oxidation on the brass pan.  A FINE 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN BRASS BED WARMER.
