The TT22 is a two part transponder with a compact control head; this includes an inbuilt altitude encoder - saving further space and expense. A separate hardware box can be installed anywhere in the airframe. The mounted control head is only 54mm (2 3/25”) deep and can be fitted in panel using a 57mm (2 ¼”) round hole or smaller compact mount, the unit ships with the necessary fittings for both install options. The TT22 unit is highly efficient and is ideal for use via an auxiliary battery in gliding or lighter than air flight.

The TT22 transponder is easy to operate and with a crisp, bright display it is also easy to read in all lighting conditions. The higher powered TT22 can be used in IFR and VFR flight in high performance aircraft, over 175 knots and/or above 15,000 feet. The transponder control head is splash proof too so it’s ideal for open cockpit and seaplane operations.

Mode A and C transponders are now being replaced by Mode S technology which is optimised for tomorrow’s airspace requirements. Despite its modest size the TT22 is a heavyweight performer, at 250 watts nominal power output this class 1 transponder meets the latest FAA TSO C166b standards for ADS-B Out.

When  will my order ship? We are generally able to ship same-day if the order is received by 1pm Pacific Time. How  do I check the status of my order? When your order ships, you will be provided a tracking  number via e-mail. Please contact us if you do not receive  tracking information within 24-hrs. Can I return an item? Unless otherwise noted in a particular listing, the following policy applies. All brand new products come with a 30-day money back guarantee (less 15% restocking fee). Items that are used/reconditioned include a 7-day DOA policy. If the item has a problem or is missing any accessories listed in the auction, please contact us immediately. If we made an error with your shipment, we will correct it.	UPS shipping costs apply to 48 contiguous states. USPS is a much cheaper alternative for shipments to AK & HI. ATTN INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: We ship either FedEx Expedited or USPS. We cannot ship orders valued over $500 via USPS. They will only ship FedEx.
